BT fornirà servizi di cyber security a icare

BT ha sottoscritto un contratto per dotare icare, compagnia australiana che offre servizi assicurativi e assistenziali a imprese, persone e comunità del Nuovo Galles del Sud (NWS, stato di cui è capitale Sidney), del nuovo servizio cloud-based SIEM (Security Incident ed Event Management).

Il servizio permetterà ad icare di migliorare significativamente la protezione dei dati dei suoi clienti e garantirà la sicurezza delle operazioni aziendali.  La soluzione BT  è stata progettata per essere scalabile e flessibile, oltre che per ridurre al minimo l'esposizione al rischio di icare nel momento in cui cambiano le esigenze aziendali e crescono le minacce alla sicurezza.

Il servizio CloudSIEM di BT combina una piattaforma SIEM aziendale basata su Amazon Web Services con servizi integrati di monitoraggio, investigazione, risposta e intelligence delle minacce. BT fornirà un servizio gestito 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7 e lavorerà in collaborazione con il team di Cyber Security di icare. Il servizio sarà erogato principalmente attraverso Security Operation Center (SOC) di BT in Australia, ampliato nel 2017 e parte della rete globale di 15 SOC di BT.

 

BT TO DELIVER CYBER SECURITY SERVICES FOR ICARE

New Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) service to step up protection of the New South Wales Government’s insurance and care operations

BT has signed a contract to deploy a cloud-based SIEM service for icare, a regional provider of insurance and care services to the businesses, people and communities of New South Wales, Australia. By selecting BT, icare will benefit from market-leading cyber security capabilities to protect its customer data and enable secure business operations. The solution has been designed to be scaleable and flexible to minimise icare’s risk exposure as business requirements change and security threats evolve.

BT’s CloudSIEM service combines an Amazon Web Services-based enterprise SIEM platform with integrated threat monitoring, investigation, response and intelligence services. BT will deliver a 24x7 managed service and work collaboratively with icare to effectively complement its internal cyber security operations team. The service will be primarily delivered from BT’s Australian Security Operation Centre (SOC), which expanded in 2017 and forms part of BT’s global network of 15 SOCs.
